Nighttime Sign and Lighting inspector

YESCO Sign & Lighting East Tennessee is seeking a part-time employee to conduct nightly sign & lighting patrols Monday – Sunday. Night patroller will be responsible for driving a specific route to look for sign & lighting outages. Specialists will be looking for sign and lighting outages in Chattanooga and surrounding cities. Outage descriptions and photos will be submitted via Smartphone to our office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows assigned patrol routes via the Servizio handheld, thoroughly checking all waypoints on the route for sign and lighting outages and service opportunities.
• Maintains constant surveillance from vehicles to identify additional sign and lighting outages and sign service issues.
• Utilizes the Servizio handheld to document outages by taking pictures and recording other details such as problem reported, sign/lighting elevations, customer name, and address.
• Estimates size and characteristics of outage or service issue, and reports findings to supervisor.
• Relays information to other interested departments, store managers, and/or owners

Ideal applicants are Dependable, Observant, Self-driven, Coachable, Proficient with technology, Detailed Oriented. Good knowledge of Nashville and surrounding cities, Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, Reliable vehicle, Valid auto insurance (must provide proof of insurance), Ability to work after dark on a regular basis. Days can be somewhat flexible.
