The Retail Allocator plays a vital role in optimizing the inventory allocation and distribution process within YETI Retail Stores. They are responsible for analyzing sales patterns, monitoring inventory levels, and determining the appropriate allocation of products to different stores or regions. The Retail Allocator works closely with the merchandising team, store managers, and suppliers to ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right times. They are also responsible for tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.

They are also responsible for tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data and historical trends to forecast future demand and determine appropriate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop allocation strategies that align with sales goals and inventory targets.
- Allocate products to stores or regions based on sales forecasts, store profiles, and inventory availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Work closely with store managers to understand their specific needs and provide support in managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any logistical issues.
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management.
- Generate reports and present findings to management to support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to make informed recommendations for inventory allocation strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve allocation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, supply or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in retail allocations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems, including Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
