Description
This position supports the students in Happy Valley after the bell on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. We provide instruction through a variety of activities with a focus on innovation and invention!

Essential Functions
- Lead youth participants in various activities
- Implement and provide input on enrichment curriculum
- Establish good rapport with parents and children
- Keep accurate rosters and attendance records
- Effectively communicate with supervisor, peers, school staff, parents and participants
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for children
- Reliably attend various hours Monday - Thursday

Requirements
Job Requirements
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Possess (or obtain within 30 days) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
- Experience working with children
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
- Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate management techniques
- Must have reliable transportation
