The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking an Assistant Director of Advancement Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Advancement Services and the Advancement Services team to manage the day-to-day operations of the development department.

DUTIES of an Assistant Director of Advancement Services
Responsibilities include overseeing the fundraising database, Raiser's Edge/NXT, managing gift processing and donor stewardship, generating fundraising and financial reports, ensuring best practices, and supporting donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts. The successful candidate will be competent in using philanthropic software, proficient in data entry, queries, and report generation, and possess exceptional organizational skills. They must be able to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment and communicate effectively with staff and constituencies at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS of an Assistant Director of Advancement Services
A bachelor's degree is preferred, and technical expertise in Raiser's Edge/NXT is a plus. This position requires excellent attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills including word processing spreadsheet, and database management is required. Candidates should have a positive work ethic and demonstrated experience working in a team environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

Salary: $43,500 - $45,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
