Executive Director, Membership & Program

The YMCA of Greater St Petersburg is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the new department of Membership and Program. Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Executive Director of Membership and Program will have direct responsibility for the supervision of all matrix based programs, the business operations team, the membership sales team and the member onboarding process. This corporate office-based position will also work directly with corporate department heads related to association initiatives as well coordinating a number of relationships that deliver our business systems technology.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Supervises matrix based Program Directors, Sales staff and Business Operations unit.
2. Manages the Association's annual program schedule in concert with the Branches, and marketing.
3. Coordinates programs schedules with Branch Executives to maximize matrix based programs.
4. Relates to Marketing and Communications as operations team lead.
5. Oversees the process in analyzing membership/program revenues and expenses to determine overall ROI.
6. Redefines membership on-boarding and create systems for continued auditing that monitor the program's success.
7. Coordinates business relationships with business vendors.
8. Leads Association in all Bay Area program and membership initiatives.
9. Responsible for overseeing, organizing, and analyzing all operations surrounding entry of programs into the operations system, running registration periods and working with program directors, accounting and marketing departments to ensure association consistency (including pricing, season dates, etc.).
10. Supervises Association business functions including:
    • Respond to data/reporting requests such as program collection reports, draft estimates, weekly camp registration reports, and other program related data.
    • Responsible for the completion of all internal and external membership data requests including sales, activity, check-ins, holds, terms, financial assistance, monthly collection reports, custom reports, bad debt calculations and other data as needed.
    • Oversight of membership billing (including 3rd party pay and corporate partners), NSFs, collections and for reporting on monthly program and childcare past-due balances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data or project management experience.
• Experience working in multiple platforms (i.e. Salesforce, SGA, Daxko and Raiser's Edge)
• Ability to direct total operations through supervision of staff, development and monitoring of department budget, marketing and public relations, and program development.
• Excellent organization, planning, problem solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess excellent office skills, proven supervisory skills, ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external people.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Publisher).
• Organized and ability to handle large volumes of work

• the community.

Salary: 68-73k. We offer excellent benefits including health insurance, facility usage, before and after school child care, and YMCA-paid retirement upon eligibility. Pre-employment drug test and background screen required.
