Jr. Technical Writer
Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ
Schedule: Fully onsite

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Tech Guide or similar experience (i.e. manuals, parts info, service bulletins, etc.)
Someone who enjoys hands-on physical product parts and analysis type work; Hobby technician per-say someone who enjoys building and taking apart technical products
When the product/unit is released, this person will be reviewing the devices and user manuals
Update device manuals (i.e. the service manuals for technicians) to make it clear and understandable for the technicians regarding the units' functions. The actual content is the training materials that the technicians will read (these are Technicians from other companies who are purchasing these products - not retail consumer customers)
Content for disassembling /assembling the product parts.
Update and edit product spec information
Experience with technical content
Experience with Home Appliances (Dacor being ideal - Dacor is high-tier kitchen appliances). Would also consider someone with hardware/network/logistics experience
Enhance service expertise by reviewing service contents for products and functions and providing improvements for service contents
Development, preparation and critical review of technical reports, technical documents, test procedures, user guides, installation and maintenance manuals
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge within the Company's Dacor Home Appliance and Electronic Products, both Sales, Product & Customer Care Departments
Part of the role is to assemble and disassemble appliances to have a better understanding of how they operate and help with the technical writing process (this is why this role is fully on-site 5 days a week)
