Bankruptcy Collections Specialist

Hybrid Bankruptcy Collections Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client based in Wayne, PA.

Summary

As a Litigation & Bankruptcy Specialist, you will be responsible for the aggressive management of a portfolio of classified relationships which includes : the reduction of non-performing assets, including development and implementation of collection strategies and appropriate recognition of write-off;

the prevention of write-off whenever possible, repossession or preservation of collateral, and the prevention of any action of merit taken against the company.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Identify and develop strategies for the resolution of trouble accounts.
• Protect company assets under various circumstances.
• Arrange for repossession of equipment in accordance with external laws and codes and internal policy and procedures.
• Review and process legal invoices and any other related invoices / expenses associated with litigation.
• Reconciliation of agency wire’s
• Complete reinstatement requests
• Monitor and Manage Functional Inbox’s
• Provide support on accounts placed with an agency.
• Complete monthly audits for 3rd party agencies

What You Need to Bring to the Table :

• 1-3 years of commercial transaction and workout experience
• Knowledge of various resolution strategies
• Works well with others and can change priorities quickly.
• Ability to communicate strategies and outcomes.
• Ability to organize a vast array of facts and data and provide risk related recommendations.
• Complex legal, business, and financial structures
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Direct impact on recoveries and risk costs
• Negotiation skills
• Time management, attention to detail, a team player, self-motivated
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with administrative tasks relating to the financial industry - exposure to litigation and last-stage collections

Pay Range : $27.00 / hr. Paid weekly.

Contract Length : (12) months with the potential to be extended.
