What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective PC skills including Word, Excel
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to recognize patterns in data, information and events to draw logical conclusions to make action recommendations and to review bids to make recommendations for purchase.
- Administrative skills to explain, review and evaluate invoices, prepare necessary reports and document procurement transactions.
- Project management, organizational and planning skills to plan workflow, coordinate projects, establish a plan of action to accomplish goals and resolve conflicting demands.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
- Support material requirements of engineering, central distribution centers, and field operations teams.
- Maintain appropriate stocking levels of critical inventory.
- Assist in identification of opportunities to utilize surplus inventory versus procuring from a third-party source.
- Assist in the data transition while migrating from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion.
- Assist in Business Transformation activities, especially leading up to Oracle Fusion go live through early to mid-post implementation.
- Responsible for creating item numbers for inventory materials and maintaining the item master.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a database to associate essential assets with critical inventory repair parts.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
