Organize and supervise after-school activities
Organize and manage bus services, including outside duty in the morning and afternoon, as well as disciplinary and safety issues with buses. Be the school contact for all busing related issues and concerns.
Represent the Chief Executive Officer and Board on all safety committees that serve local, state, and national standards of student and staff safety in school.
Manage the WIN after-school Title I Program.
Monitor attendance which includes working with the state system for late/absence recording.
Monitor the cafeteria at lunch times and recesses to help monitor behavior.
Participate weekly grade level team meetings to coordinate trips, activities, and materials.
Coordinate with the teachers in evaluating the state curricular standards as they apply to the grade levels served by YARCS (grades K-5 in school year 2014-2015).
Assist with student discipline issues as directed by the Chief Academic Officer.
Assist the Chief ExecutiveOfficer in monitoring all suspensions of students both in and out of school.
Assist the Chief Executive Officer in tracking disciplinary cases at the school.
Teach an elective in grades 4 and 5.
Participate on the “Student Services Team” along with: the School Counselor, Special Education Department, Title I Reading Specialist, School Nurse and Any other Team Members.
