PURPOSE
As an Energy Advisor at Central Valley Ag you will be responsible for maintaining established accounts as well as developing new business opportunities through cold calls and by providing onsite customer service and support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies potential clients, using advertising campaigns, cold calls and leads from other divisions.
- Contacts prospective customers to determine customer needs, presents information or explains available services.
- Offers advice on the purchase or sale of petroleum products.
- Records transactions accurately and keeps clients informed regarding transactions.
- Assists in arranging for the transportation or storage of purchased petroleum products.
- Negotiates contracts with customers for the purchase, storage, and delivery of petroleum products.
- Confers with customers or petroleum personnel to address questions, problems or requests for service/equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Three to five years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
- Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.
