Job Title: LOT TECHNICIAN

Job Summary: Maintain the lot and vehicles in a clean and organized manner and prepare vehicles for detailing. Manage repossessed vehicles and prepare the repossessed vehicles for storage. Adhere to Employee Handbook.

This is a great entry level position. Our General Manager, Director of Recon, 1 of our Sales Associate's and Detail Manager all started in this position, We are a fast growing company with a promote from within mentality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Job

• Receive and inventory vehicles from auction.
• Ensure all required buyer’s guides are in good condition and displayed on lot vehicles; and tag vehicles with “not for sale” stickers as needed.
• Manage repossessed vehicles by receiving the vehicles; removing, documenting and storing personal items found in the vehicles, and preparing the repossessed vehicle for storage.
• Keep an inventory of repossessed vehicles.
• Assist sales department with lot management, vehicle security, and lot shut down at the end of the work-day.
• Keep lot and vehicles on lot organized, and free from trash and debris.
• Maintain property and building up keep.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate with vendors as needed.
• Inform service manager and sales manager of low inventory of supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• Ability to organize vehicles in a manner appealing to retail sales.

Weight Lifting (or other physical) Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:

• Possession of current State of Ohio driver’s license
