Young Judaea Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp, located in Red Hook, is a camp for children entering Pre-K through 5th grade.

We are looking for energetic, fun-loving and responsible people to join our activity specialist team!

Sprout Brooklyn values staff that are positive and flexible team players who are excited to spend the summer with young campers and staff. The ideal candidate is excited about camp life and feels comfortable wearing multiple hats and will never say that a task “isn’t their job”.

Staff Training is June 17th, 18th, 20th & 23rd. Camp runs from June 24 – August 16. The camp day runs from 8:30am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute fun, age-appropriate Music activities
  • Engage campers and help them develop new skills
  • Run 25 minute lessons daily with groups of 12-14 campers

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • At least 2 years’ experience teaching speciality activity to children ages 3 – 10
  • Experience attending or working at a summer camp
  • Enthusiasm and the willingness to be silly
  • Hebrew fluency is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,100.00 - $5,300.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
