- Obtain complete health and psychosocial history and records findings in a systematic format.
- Perform complete physical assessment.
- Orders, performs, and interprets routine laboratory tests.
- Provides health education and counseling.
- Arranges referrals to other members of the health team as needed and to community resources.
- Uses appropriate reporting mechanisms as required by law.
- Respects the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients.
- Obtains appropriate authorization and consents for treatments.
- Review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course.
- Market and provide community education.

- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program and certification by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
- A current license to practice nursing in the state of South Carolina.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Understand principles of pain and symptom management.
- Previous experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, and other places.
- Ability to utilize electronic documentation required
