JOB DESCRIPTION


As the face of our marine construction & boat lift service division, you will own educating clients on, selling, and administering installation, service, & maintenance solutions for boat lifts, docks, and seawalls, ensuring our clients can enjoy safe and reliable waterfront experiences, preserving their valuable investments. Maintain a working knowledge of all marine construction projects to provide clients with solutions that range the entire Dock Experts scope of work.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES


Maintenance Plans: Work with clients to identify the appropriate maintenance plans for their docks, seawalls, and boat lifts


Boat Lift Installation & Service Requests: Perform scheduled inspections, diagnostics, installations and maintenance on boat lifts, ensuring proper functionality and safety. This includes checking electrical systems, hydraulics, motors, cables, and any mechanical components


Construction Service & Maintenance: Lead a team to administer dock and seawall service, and maintenance (pilings, decks, docks, hardware, and additions


Marine Construction Projects: Maintain a working knowledge of our end-to-end product and service offerings to ensure clients are provided with any additional products and solutions to meet their needs.


Quality & Inspection: Maintain a standard of excellence, quality, and timeliness that meet or exceed expectations


Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Sales experience
Prior boat lift installation experience
Active driver's license & personal vehicle
Basic tools (square, tape measure, hammer, drill, etc.)
Excellent communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills including typing, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strongly preferred: 2 years of prior boat lift and dock installation, service, diagnostics, troubleshooting & repair
General knowledge of construction operations and procedures
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor and always "safety-first" approach
Familiarity with hand tools such as power drills, hammers, and saws
Strongly preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
