Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Family Based Mental Health Therapist works in a co-therapy team to provide intense, time limited therapy to children and their families. The position holds individual, family, parent, and sibling therapy sessions as well as case management. The children are at risk of placement or need an intensive treatment modality. The position requires 2-3 evenings per week, and crisis intervention as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and experience in therapy, children services, or in a mental health setting.
Training is provided by Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.. Employees must complete training that is relevant to the position as required. CPR/FA Certification, Advocacy, Autism, MANDT Training, and Pre-Employment Trainings are required.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
