What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: This position is responsible to provide support for the Delco Rising (Delaware County) program and program director. The Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of their program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, client intake/referral process and case management services.
- They will maintain collaboration with local law enforcement departments, communication with youth, parents, and school personnel.
- Act as a liaison between youth and community entities.
- Monitor status behavioral and emotional progress.
- Must provide monthly and quarterly agency reports, maintain progress notes and case notes.
- Be able to attend and participate in external and internal meetings.
Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish is strongly preferred!)
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, School Counseling, or Youth Development preferred.
- Knowledge of local community is highly desirable
- Experience working in urban settings and working with diverse communities.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
