General Summary:

This position works under the direction of the Residential Services Director. Promotes Youth Home in the community. Develops and maintains strong relationships with potential referral sources to bring in referrals and to increase census. Performs screening/assessments to facilitate an admission or referral.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Promotes public relations, works effectively as a liaison with the community and markets Youth Home programs.
• Establishes continuing relationships with referral sources by visits and telephone calls.
• Assists the Residential Services Director in the development of program descriptions that meet CMS, Medicaid, Joint Commission, and private insurance contract standards, updating policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal skills; ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, licensed associates and the general public
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Basic understanding of calculation of figures

Education and/or Experience:

Master's degree required. Must possess one of the following current credentials licensed by the State of Arkansas: L.A.C., L.P.C., L.M.S.W., L.C.S.W., L.P.E. Minimum of two year's experience in assessments and marketing required. Adequate knowledge regarding appropriate levels of care as related to psychiatric, emotional, and behavioral health problems is required. Must possess good driving skills and a valid Arkansas driver's license and be eligible for agency insurance. Military service is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Team members are required to sit, stand, talk, see, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must maintain a current tuberculosis skin test. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
