Department Name: Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County

Position Title: Counselor

Position Summary: Serves as Counselor for the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County with focus on both Binkley House Emergency Youth Shelter and adolescent programming for community groups. Responsible for providing community-based and short-term intervention counseling for youth and their families, and providing training and group facilitation for youth, parents, volunteers, and community organizations.

Must be able to serve in an on-call rotation with other clinical staff with the possibility of some weekend and evening hours being required during on call week.

Qualifications: master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field required. Prior experience with at-risk youth preferred. Licensed or license eligible in the state of Indiana.

Salary: $56,556 plus county benefits
