YPrime is looking for a Scrum Master to join our Product Development team. In this role, you’ll drive the implementation of Scrum and Agile methodologies into the software development aspects of our Project Delivery process. You’ll be based remotely, or in our Malvern, PA or Raleigh, NC office. At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

- Minimum of 1 year in the Scrum Master role for a software development team
- Basic familiarity with SDLC principles
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
- Knowledge of Agile techniques, like: User stories, continuous integration, ATDD, TDD, BDD continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, agile games
- Expertise in project planning (e.g., scoping, time estimation)
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Proven experience creating useful, reliable and practical plans for software development project delivery
- Strong ability to grasp complex, technical concepts and make them easily understandable through both text and graphics
- Proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field

- You’ll assist in the implementation of Scrum and agile methodologies to allow the delivery of projects to be more efficient
- You’ll drive standardization of processes across the Delivery group
- You’ll ensure the correct use of the Scrum process
- You’ll organize and facilitate regular Scrum, release planning and retrospective meetings
- You’ll work with technical team members to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budgeted hours
- You’ll help to determine the appropriate allocation of resources
- You’ll facilitate decision-making processes to ensure visibility into project progress
- You’ll alert management of project issues
- You’ll work with the Product Owner to groom project backlogs ahead of upcoming project deliveries
- You’ll work with the Product team to determine whether customizations should be project-specific or integrated into the base product
