YSI is seeking a highly qualified ELECT - Business Analyst. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

* Primarily remote/onboarding ONSITE- candidates must be available to come to the Richmond, VA office for onboarding. They may also be asked to come to the office during emergencies and high-volume periods, such as elections

• Our client (VA Department of Elections) is looking for an experienced Business analyst to assist their Software Project Management team.
• Candidate must be proficient in Agile practices of story writing and requirements gathering. Able to deliver written project deliverables and communicate to stakeholders at all levels.
• Working experience utilizing the following soft skills:
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large project(5 Years)
• Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors. (5 Years)
• Able to accurately define and capture project requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. (5 Years)
• Able to write UAT test scripts from use cases and proficient in UAT testing(5 Years)
• Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks (5 Years)
• Able to track requirements throughout lifecycle of SDLC cycle (5 Years)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, ADO, JIRA, and Confluence (5 Years)
• Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems. (5 Years)

Candidate must be able to attend onboarding ONSITE in Richmond, VA/attend occasional meetings.

Salary: $85,000-90,000 annually with benefits
