As a Kids Club Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and programming in one of our four, Story County, Kids Club locations: Boone, Gilbert K-2, Gilbert 3-6, and Roland-Story. The goal of Kids Club is to develop a safe, worthwhile, educational and fun experience for the children who participate. As part of our well-trained, dedicated staff, you will strive to create an environment where children can build positive relationships with caring adults. Other responsibilities include:
- Plan and implement all-day programming during the school year, in-service days, winter and spring breaks, and summer.
- Work with staff and community resources to identify recreational and educational activities.
- Develop a structured service-learning plan for each school year, implementing themed monthly activities that align with program goals.
- Provide leadership to site staff in the areas of behavior management, teaching, and administration.
- Oversee the daily program from start to finish, including preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
- Supervise children in the program, monitoring behavior, participation, and performance.
- Monitor check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring authorized drop-offs and pickups.
- Track attendance, payments, relevant child and family data.
- Complete required paperwork and attend all meetings and training sessions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or higher in a social sciences field
OR
- At least 3 years of experience in a school or child development setting.
- Successful completion in CPR/First Aid, Universal Precautions, and Mandatory Reporter Training.
- If not in place at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within first three months of employment.
