YTL Training Programs is seeking a Director of Programming to lead various programs within YTL Training Programs. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. You will supervise, evaluate and give timely feedback to program staff. Work collaboratively with other youth serving programs, local service providers etc. to ensure that programming is successful. Ensure that all current programs are delivered successfully while adding the highest possible value to YTL Training Programs.

Responsibilities
Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
Work with the Director of Operations and Finance
to develop and adhere to a budget
submit grants
develop and implement fundraising plans
Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
Supervise all program, evaluate and provide feedback and resolve complex problems
Lead efficiently and productively by modeling and supporting employees increased knowledge of their positions including knowledge of procedures and skill sets required.
Work with the administrative assistant to properly record progress and outcomes for specific programs and grants
Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
Keep the board chair informed with detailed and accurate reports/ presentations
Requirements and skills
Excellent communication skills
Timely response to email, phone communication
Giving and receiving feedback
Setting high standards and expectations for all staff and participants
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
Starting the evaluation process within 30 days of employment for full time employees and within 60 days for part time employees
Meeting evaluation deadlines
Communicating in a timely manner areas of praise, improvement etc.
Working knowledge of MS office
Organizational skills
Maintaining a professional and respectful environment
Excellent Time Management evidenced by consistently setting and following a schedule
Timely submission of request for time off(to board chair) and communicating the same expectations to all employees
Leadership skill
Clear and consistent communication as the supervisor
Leading by example, supporting by modeling and encouraging
Working collaboratively with other admin staff to ensure that everyone is the organization is working toward the same goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
after school and summer programming: 3 years (Required)
