Position Summary:
Manages all functions of the department to include, supervising the registration, abstracting of all patient encounters, and conducting internal audits for accuracy. Responsible for the timely completing of all registration, coding, data/charge entry and abstracting required in the Revenue Cycle Process.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. RHIT or RHIA degree preferred
- Two (2) years experience in Patient Registration or Coding/Data Entry preferred. Must have experience working with confidential, detailed processes, excellent organizational, and customer service skills.

- Computer proficiency with various software and database systems, calculator, multi-line phone, fax/copy machine.
- Clinical and Financial systems, Word and Excel, PDF
- Knowledge of ICD-9/CPT Guidelines and Applications
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology coursework preferred.
- Supervisory Responsibilities - Coding/Data entry and patient registration employees,
