Position Overview:
The Call Desk Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining our current Food Service customers with the opportunity to grow revenue by building a strong professional relationship with each customer. Prospect for new business by cold calling to current and prospective customers to present our Food Service and Special Events Programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Make food service sales calls daily.
- Double check all orders for product accuracy, delivery times, location and dates.
- Make follow up phone calls to customers after the completion of the order to build customer relationships by making sure they did receive their order and quality customer service and see if there is anything else, we can do for them at this time.
- Prompt and courteous with return calls, emails, etc.
- Ability to explain at the customer level.
- Exceed Customer Expectations.
- Pursue a thought pattern of how we can rather than why we cannot.
- Promote new items to all food service customers.
- Maintain and order any non-stock item needed for special requests.
- Promote and sell Special Events Program by cold calling and the ability to come up with other methods.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
