- Greet customers with a smile and a sincere willingness to serve
- Make menu suggestions and up-sell when appropriate
- Take and serve food/drink orders
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and customer service guidelines
- Perform all side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
- If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned employees
Job Skills:
- Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.
- Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle dishes, money, merchandise, etc. Lift and carry heavy items, such as trays.
