What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part 135 Line Pilot position at Yute Commuter Service?
Our mission is to deliver freight and provide safe passenger travel to remote villages in SW Alaska. We offer competitive pay and benefits. As a line pilot you will be responsible for keeping your assigned aircraft clean, verifying necessary equipment and documentation is on board, and a thorough preflight is complete. You will be responsible for fueling your aircraft, changing seat configuration, loading/unloading and securing your cargo. You are expected to maintain a professional attitude when briefing passengers prior to departure. You will be required to complete paperwork such as pilot duty logs, manifests, aircraft tach time logs, squawk forms and your paysheet. you must be able to plan flights including checking weather/NOTAMS, expected fuel use and perform weight & balance calculations.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly as routine part of dispatching your aircraft. Our company operates year round. We ask for a 1 year commitment from date of hire.

Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial pilot certificate.
- Instrument rating.
- Current 1st or 2nd class medical.
- 500 hours total time.
- 100 hours cross country with at least 25 hours at night.
Strongly prefer:
- 750-1000 hours of total time.
- 25 hours single pilot actual IMC.
- Recent night experience.
- High performance and complex endorsements. CFI, Multi engine rating, Float rating, tailwheel endorsement and backcountry flying experience are a plus.
