Description
YWCA Oklahoma City offers victims of domestic violence (DV), sexual assault (SA), and stalking immediate crisis response services through our C.A.R.E. and H.O.P.E programs. The C.A.R.E. programs includes the following services: Crisis hotlines, Advocacy, emergency Residential shelter, and forensic nurse Exams. The H.O.P.E. programs includes Healing, Opportunities, Prevention, and Education. YWCA OKC services are provided at our primary location, through staff embedded at the Palomar Family Justice Center and local hospitals throughout the metro Oklahoma City area.
The YWCA Oklahoma City is currently seeking a part-time custodian/janitor to work approximately 20 hours a week. This will be located in our emergency shelter and days worked will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Requirements
-Clean floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
-Gather and empty trash in common areas.
-Clean and supply public restrooms.
-Clean and polish furniture and fixtures in common areas.
-Clean windows and mirrors in common areas.
-Clean machines and equipment. Such as wiping down EEP lab computers, printers, and other equipment in common areas.
-Shampoo carpets, strip and polish floors when needed.
-Observe and report any maintenance needs.
-Inventory housekeeping supplies and equipment.
-Assist with setup and taking down tables, chairs, decorations, etc. in preparation of meetings, events and special occasions and projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of appropriate cleaning processes, including, but not limited to, safe use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning machines, i.e. vacuums, buffers and shampooers. Must be able to lift (up to) fifty pounds.
