Handyman Service Technician

We are looking for a Handyman Technician who is a self starter, always brings quality to work, and is able to solve clients problems. The ideal person also enjoys conversations with clients, is always looking to learn and improve, and is results-driven.

The primary job of a Handyman Technician is be able to estimate time and materials needed for an assigned project, and to complete the projects in a quality manner.

A Day In The Life:

Work days are Monday through Friday, 8am to completion (usually 4-6pm)

-Check company management application to get job details for the day

-Arrive on site

-Greet client and learn what projects they need completed

-Create estimate based on clients needs

-Complete clients work (can take multiple days)

-Complete all digital paperwork for this project and collect payment (all on applications)

-Depending on time of day either head to next assigned job or head home

Required Skills:

-Able to speak with clients directly

-Minor electrical and plumbing

-Drywall repairs, including texture

-General carpentry including trim work, doors, exterior wood repair

-Assembly of furniture and other similar items

-Hanging and install of various items

-Paint touch-ups or minor paint jobs

-Honey do lists

-Flooring repairs and install, including tile

-Painting

-Other similar tasks

Position requirements:

-Own tools including common hand tools, battery powered tools (drills, circular saw, paint brush, drywall tools, ect)

-Able to work solo and as part of a team

-Prior experience in multiple areas required

-Can carry and climb ladders

-Work in crawlspaces

-Able to lift and carry materials

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Reliable and punctual

-Valid drivers license

-Can pass a background check

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
