Railroad Construction Laborer

Job Summary

ZA Construction is looking for a Laborer. The ideal candidate would have a background in the railroad industry along with Heavy Machinery operation experience - but all are invited to apply. Must be able to work Monday - Friday (full-time and some overtime) and be available to work on weekends/holidays when necessary. Must be able to travel out of state (transportation provided).

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Preform general railroad construction
  • May work under the direction of a Track Supervisor or Foreman
  • May work independently or as a member of a crew
  • Be able to safely perform all job responsibilities
  • Other duties assigned

Education and Experience

  • Railroad Experience (preferred)
  • CDL Class A License or desire to acquire (preferred)
  • Experience with Heavy Machinery/Equipment a PLUS

Required

  • Must be authorized for employment in USA
  • Pre employment drug screen required for all workers on the rail

_ Salary is commensurate with experience._

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
