What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at ZAAS?
Seeking dependable CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer, need the following:
- Program, Setup and run both low and high volume production runs.
- Proficient in CNC Swiss Lathes – Okumas a Plus.
- Proficiency in Master Cam.
- Formal education in CNC machining is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and use gages and measuring instruments to meet tight tolerance requirements.
- Willing to comply with all quality policies, specifications and regulations.
- Communicates effectively with clients and other team members.
- Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, to manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
- Overtime may be required, including weekends when necessary.
Client is a precision cutting tool designer and manufacturer that was established in 1965 and is located in Gates, NY. Client offers products in the standard tools, custom tools, distributed products, and re-sharpening segments. Another segment of the business is in the engineering and manufacturing of high production, high precision, machined parts.
