We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tooling Manager to join our team. As the Tooling Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tooling operations, ensuring the efficient and effective use of tools in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all tooling operations, including tool design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair
- Develop and implement tooling strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet quality standards and production requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting tooling issues
- Conduct regular inspections of tools to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with suppliers to source new tools or components as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tooling technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Strong technical background with expertise in electrical systems, logic controllers, HVAC/R, and precision measuring instruments
- Proven experience in tool design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
