Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biochemist in West Point, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Responsibilities for the Biochemist:
- Utilize skills with SDS-Page, Elisa, Capillary Electrophoresis, and UV-VIS to assist in the production and development of vaccines
- Assist with endotoxin testing within the lab
- Support process Improvement projects such as standardization of test methods and the execution of test methods as well as assay validation/ qualification
- Perform deviation and OOS investigations and carry our experiments in support of these investigations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and procedures
Qualifications for the Biochemist:
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Hands on experience using Capillary Electrophoresis, Elisa, SDS-Page and UV-Vis
- Experience conducting deviation and OOS investigation's
- Technical writing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field
Compensation for the Biochemist:
- Pay Rate: $35-40 Per Hour
- 1 Year Contract with possible extension
- Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP
