Job Details

Piper Companies is currently seeking Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET) to support installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment working for a reputable Healthcare Institution in Hershey, PA.

There are currently multiple openings for all levels (I,II,III). SHIFT: First shift: Mon -Friday 7:30a-4:00pm or 8:00a- 4:30

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment (anesthesia machines and ventilators, etc)
  • Coordinate with other departments and vendors for troubleshooting and installations
  • Verify that medical equipment is operating according to manufacturer's standards
  • Document work appropriately


Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology or related field
  • IT certification, such as networking or A required


Compensation:
  • $30.00 - $45.00/hour
  • Contract to Hire
