Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect for a permanent position with a government contractor supporting DoD and IC programs.
This position is partly remote, and will require 30-40% travel to client sites in the DC metro area.
Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:
· Provide architecture, strategic vision, and technical oversite for client proposals and solutions
· Develop and present product demos
· Develop winning solutions meeting the technical and business needs of the customer
· Work with account executives to support and prioritize sales opportunities
· Assist in full lifecycle RFI/RFP processes
· Engage with stakeholders on a regular basis
Requirements for the Solutions Architect:
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
· 5 years of experience in software/IT presales and solutions architecture
· Experience designing SaaS, Cloud, and Big Data solutions for government customers
· Active Security clearance is a plus
Compensation for the Solutions Architect:
· $140,000 - $155,000 annual salary *depending on experience*
