Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking Windows Network Operations Manager to support a Civilian Government Contract based in Washington, DC. The Windows Network Operations Manager will be responsible for directing the Network Services team by providing day-to-day oversight and management of data network and infrastructure operations. The operations Manager should have the technical knowledge and skills to be able to step in when Network Services employees run into road blocks or knowledge challenges. This is a technical/management position.
Responsibilities
Hands-on experience performing Windows and VMware administration.
Hands-on knowledge with print, file share, and Microsoft Distributed File system administration.
Ability to manage a team of 20+ administering network, storage, Windows, Linux, and Database in 24X7 operations environment.
Meet or exceed all service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure meeting of deliverables
Develops and maintains policies and procedures for all IT infrastructure operating environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline
12+ years of hands on experience, of which at least 8 years is specialized experience in data center and network operations maintenance and management; or without degree 14 or more years of experience related to position
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
At least U.S. Resident
At least one current technical certification: MCSE, VMware certified
Compensation
$115-120k
