Maintenance Technician (manufacturing)
Job Summary
The maintenance technician performs a combination of machine maintenance and preventative maintenance, electrical, pipe fitting and carpentry duties with the goal of preventing machine downtime and completing a project as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs machinery
- Install equipment, including rigging, setting and ancillary services
- Electrical repairs not requiring skills of an electrician
- Plumbing and pipe fitting new or existing installations
- Schedule/Perform preventive maintenance operations
- Reports machine irregularities so that corrective action can be taken
- Builds platforms and guards
- Follows all quality procedures and instructions
- Observes safety rules and works safely at all times
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Machinist experience preferred
- Welding experience preferred
- CNC experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
