Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the Business Analyst will work with our customers to successfully implement our products. You will learn and understand our products from functional and integration perspective and gain the ability to explain, configure and demonstrate functionality to our customers and partners. What will you do?
- Support and align efforts to meet customer business needs as a part of software delivery
- Work with senior team members to learn, review and assess product capabilities
- Participate in and contribute to requirements elicitation
- Document customer requirements
- Create and review specification documents
- Conduct walkthroughs to clarify customer requirements
- Convert requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for application development and testing
- Configure product to map customer use cases
- Create test scenarios and test cases to map coverage of the application functionality to documented use cases
- Test configurations as a part of acceptance verification
- Communicate proactively with customers and internal team members to deliver business value as a part of daily work management
- Participate in and contribute to triage sessions with customers and partners
- Train and guide junior members of the team to obtain necessary product and project knowledge
- Support team in developing product and customer knowledge base
- Collaborate closely with clients and Zafin Product and Engineering teams to come up with solutions, define product requirements, prioritize features and align on timelines
- Define, monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
What do I need to succeed?
Must have:
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
- A certification in Business Analysis is desirable (a goal to work towards to)
- A basic knowledge of cloud concepts is desirable (a goal to work towards to)
- 5 years of experience working with customers and partners in an Business Analyst function
- Agile, Scrum experience
- Familiarity/experience with process methodologies used in software industry
- Familiarity with analysis, testing tools
- Familiarity with automation of repeatable processes is desirable
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Wiki
- Must be familiar with our product or a product used by financial institutions in a similar space
- Must be able to use and work with user interface-based applications
- Ability to connect, engage, listen, explain, facilitate, coordinate with our clients
- Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and can foster team collaboration.
