JOB:
Full-time Legal Administrative Assistant
- White Plains, New York
- 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday
- Paid parking
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Billing and collections, including:
- Enter time and expenses into Timeslips database
- Prepare monthly draft invoices and enter attorney edits
- Prepare and finalize client invoices
- Mail or send invoices electronically (including via clients’ designated electronic billing system, such as Serengeti).
- Respond timely to inquiries from attorneys and clients regarding all billing matters
- Support attorneys on document preparation and production (letters, zoning submissions, litigation papers, etc.)
- Interact with clients and vendors
- Help manage firm calendar
- Assist on various administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years’ experience
- Proficient with Timeslips, Serengeti, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with attorneys, staff, vendors, etc. (and accountant as necessary)
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaborate with others
- Detail-oriented; pro-active
COMPENSATION:
Firm offers a competitive compensation package with benefits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
