Job Description:
As a Drafter I in the drafting department, you will ultimately leverage your in-depth knowledge of BIM technology (Revit, specifically), engineering and construction, strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and strong communication acumen to manage the drafting of assigned projects to support other disciplines and develop construction documents. The responsibilities of this position include:
Utilize knowledge and experience in engineering and BIM technologies to develop construction documents for projects ranging from private residences to K-12 campuses and commercial developments.
Assist with project development and support architectural and engineering staff through standard design processes (schematic design, design development, and construction documents).
Perform drafting in compliance with ZCS standards.
Collaborate with project partners (in-house disciplines, owners, architects, sub-consultants, etc.).

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program, bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university, associate degree in drafting or related degree, or comparable work experience required.
Critical thinking with engagement skills coupled with detailed execution of concepts in a deadline driven arena.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must possess strong technical skills and have an aptitude for project management.
Ability to travel (occasionally) as we support projects throughout the state.
Valid driver’s license required.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
