Business Development Manager

This position is responsible for consistently increasing sales revenues by identifying, researching, developing and securing business with new customers. The BDM is accountable for building and sustaining long-term customer relationships, managing account profitability and increasing sales penetration.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Development Center team
• Identify, research and develop new customers that align with company strategy and offering
• Deliver company value proposition, products and services professionally
• Develop, achieve and maintain a sales forecast for assigned accounts
• Manage assigned accounts to meet profitability objectives
• Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships and sales revenue streams
• Create sales and marketing presentation materials
• Provide market, product and competitor intelligence to ensure the company is always on the leading edge
• Maintain customer relationships at all levels to ensure company is involved with new projects while maintaining existing ones
• Communicate customer requirements, priorities and action plans within the company to ensure timely follow-up and execution
• Prepare reports and support Sales Management as needed
