Second shift is 2 : 30PM- 11 : 00PM) 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to grow our machine shop into a self-sufficient parts center.

Here's what you'll do : Setup and operate Citizen and Tsugami Swiss lathes and CNC Mill machines; utilize machines to craft medical instruments of the highest quality Plan proper task sequences from blueprints, written, or verbal instructions Monitor production and check the output accuracy of parts, adjusting the feeds and settings as needed Identify and implement and / or learn new techniques and skills that enhance the manufacturing of surgical instruments Other duties may be assigned Do you qualify?

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE A minimum of 2 years' manufacturing experience in a shop environment while operating CNC machines;
Experience operating Swiss lathes is a plus The ability to read and interpret blueprints, written, and verbal instructions / requirements Experience checking output accuracy of parts coming off the machines MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
