What’s the role?
As a Field Service Technician, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC.
Show case your skills and experience with a focus on calibration and servicing of custom sensors and equipment. You will interact with customers and cross functional service groups that support and launch ZEISS products into the field.

Here’s what you’ll do :
- Repair, Troubleshoot, Service and Calibrate high tech sensors at customer locations.
- Demonstrate customer service skills and knowledge with a high level of passion and dedication.
- Demonstrate your ability to install, evaluate, detect, and troubleshoot different types of issues affecting computer systems and electronics.
- Perform necessary administrative paperwork in a complete and accurate manner.
- Be Solutions-oriented with the ability to work independently in a high pressure, fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Travel requirement is 75 -100% including international travel as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Do you qualify?
- Minimum, High School graduate, completed GED or equivalent.
- Or, Tech School, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as, Computer networking, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, and the like.
- Or Training and experience from a Military Technical School.
- Prior experience working with hand tools, computer hardware, computer software, and basic electrical test equipment.
- Microsoft operating system knowledge is required.
- Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Successful candidates will need to acquire or currently possess a valid US Passport.
- Able and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude.
Nice to haves :
Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
