The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the optimization of operational efforts and through rigorous analysis and prediction models, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the support of identifying order intake and revenue trends in markets. The Financial Analyst also is responsible for supporting accurate and timely completion and reporting of the monthly and annual financial results and month end close. The Financial Analyst partners with the various functional areas to provide high quality financial analysis in support of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Supports financial analysis of sales and service fields of business to identify trends and drive operational excellence.
- Drives financial acumen and expertise across the sales and service function in the evolution of our sales strategies.
- Supports customer facing teams as a financial liaison, providing advice to drive profitable business decisions.
- Supports preparation and review of monthly financial results to ensure accuracy and provide appropriate visibility to business leaders.
- Participates in standard financial processes that include financial month end closing, budget development and periodic forecast updates as it relates to operational expenses.
- Provides insightful reporting and analysis to support the Sales and Services team.
- Sorts and mines large data sets from multiple sources to identify trends/variances
- Supports monthly financial statements flux analysis to identify trends.
- Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis for use by managers to evaluate their businesses, including industry benchmarking.
- Provides analysis, insights and guidance to allow business leaders to design, implement and measure profitable business strategies, enhance cost efficiencies, and improve quality.
- Month-end and ongoing analysis of business performance including expense and KPI reporting vs plan and objectives.
- Proactively Identifies and helps implement process and cost improvements.
- Leverage IT solutions for the development of financial reporting tools and process efficiency implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Professional experience:
- 3 years of analytical experience
- Financial modeling and tool building, problem solving, and analytical thinking.
- Skills and languages :
- Self-driven, persuasive and independent with strong attention to detail & follow-up.
- Strong business acumen and sense of accountability/ownership.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and influence business partners of all levels across multiple organizations.
- Demonstrates time and project management skills; ability to multi-task, manage competing deadlines, and function effectively under pressure.
- Microsoft Excel and PowerBI proficiency a must
- SAP experience a plus.
