Job Summary
You are working on the design and implementation of mobile RF transceivers ICs for cellular (4G/5G) and Connectivity (WiFi/Bluetooth/GNSS) as part of a multi-site project team.
Responsibilities
This role encompasses the following tasks but not limited to:
- In a multi-site project team, you are working on the design and implementation of mobile RF transceivers IC's for cellular (4G/5G) and Connectivity (WiFi/Bluetooth/GNSS):
- Work with system engineers to define block specs to optimize overall product performance, power and area.
- Develop innovative RF/Analog circuits architecture and perform a transistor level design to bring concept to tape out.
- Supervise layout work of assigned tasks and iterate designs based on parasitic extraction.
- Participate in silicon bring up and characterization RF/analog blocks at IP level.
- Support system level integration and testing.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BSEE is required. MSEE/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with desired experience in RF/Analog IC design is preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience in designing RF transceiver in deep sub-micro and finFET CMOS technology and demonstrate good analytical abilities.
- Direct tape out experience with one of more the following RF/Analog blocks:
- LNA, Mixer, PA, VCO, PLL, Switched-Cap Filters, Continuous Time Filters, and ADC & DAC.
- Understanding of CMOS device modeling and circuit layout for optimal RF/analog performance in high frequency circuits.
- Proven track record of completing complex designs on time.
Additional requirement for senior level position
- Proven track record of high-performance design in volume production for RF transceiver.
- Familiarity with various transceiver architectures and their trade-offs.
- Knowledge of wireless system cellular (4G/5G), connectivity (802.11, BT/BLE, GNSS), or other relevant wireless standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop transceiver architecture.
- Drive RF transceiver schedules and milestones to meet product requirements.
- Extensive experience in Silicon characterization, debug and mass production.

Pay and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is between $155K and $257K. The base pay will depend on your experience, skills, qualification, and location.
