House Director

Zelle HR Solutions is looking to fill a House Director position for Willard Sorority at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position provides an opportunity to be a part of the oldest local sorority in the United States. This position allows you to become a part of a very memorable time in the lives of our Chapter members.

Position: Sorority House Director

Location: 5110 Madison Avenue, Lincoln, Nebraska

Position Summary: The House Director oversees the overall operations of the Chapter House, including but not limited to: day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the Chapter House. The House Director consults with the Willard Corporation and active Chapter President for guidance and assistance in executing duties.

Essential Functions:

· Manage the Chapter House and coordinating services so the Chapter House runs smoothly and is presentable at all times.

· Consult with the Alum Corporation Board regarding issues of concern.

· Act as hostess for the Chapter House; for example: women visiting during recruitment activities, parents visiting, special events.

· Assist in planning Sorority affairs as requested by the Willard Chapter and Willard Alums; for example: parents’ weekend, initiation weekend.

· Conduct daily walk-through inspections of the Chapter House informing the Corporation of problems and concerns that need rectifying; make necessary phone calls and arrangements.

· Ensure all safety testing and inspecting occur on a regular basis.

· Teach regular etiquette lessons to Chapter members, as requested.

· Attend Chapter functions and represent the Chapter at House Director functions on campus and through Greek Affairs.

· Meet regularly with the Chapter House Manager, President, and/or other important officers.

· Set an example of a responsible adult to the Chapter members.

· Be open and accessible to the Chapter members.

Qualifications:

· The House Director is required to reside in the Chapter House.
