OVERVIEW:

Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Quality Inspection Specialist – 3rd Shift.

** JOB TITLE: Quality Inspection Specialist – 3rd Shift

** LOCATION: Onsite Role | 10020 Pacific Mesa Blvd San Diego CA 92121

** WORK SCHEDULE: SHIFT: Two positions with different shift timings. When applying, please indicate the role you are interested in by specifying your preferred shift timing.

Shift Hours 5:00am to 1:30pm and 10:00pm to 05:00am.

** DURATION: 12 months

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr (depending upon shift).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities include inspection (Visual), analysis of results, determining final disposition of some product and detecting nonconforming conditions.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods at the Final Inspection Area.
• Adheres to quality guidelines. Complies with regulations and standards. Identifies basic non-compliance within regulations and standards. Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed..

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High school diploma Is desirable but not a must and if the person has experience it should also be enough.
• Product Inspection experience.
• Experience performing visual inspections as per inspection procedures.
• Oriented to detail.
• 1-2 years of experience is desirable.
• Proven ability to correctly interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Able to use standard measuring equipment including calipers, Random-Access memory (RAM) optic, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc. is a plus. Previous experience participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated understanding in the use of calibrated equipment and ability to follow equipment maintenance repair procedures.
