What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early childhood special position at Zen Educate?
We are hiring Early Childhood Special Education Teachers in the West Covina Area for an immediate start. This role is full-time and can lead to opportunities for work as a full time school teacher.
Zen Educate is looking for certified substitute teachers who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children's lives.
This is a great opportunity to build experience and build relationships with multiple schools in your community. You will also gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles.
Key Duties :
- Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)
- Use effective oral and written expression
- Assist in the ongoing curriculum articulation and review process
- Provide student progress reports
- Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Maintaining a safe learning environment
- Works with individuals and / or small groups
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Early Childhood Special Education
Preferred Requirements :
- Master's Degree
- Accredited Teacher Preparation Program
Additional Requirements :
- Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
