Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our strong educational community in Colorado Springs.
This full-time position involves teaching Spanish language and culture to high school students, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural understanding.
In this role, you will be able to grow your experience and relationships with multiple schools and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles.
This role comes with a competitive daily rate between $180 - $220 per day, paid weekly. With this role, there is no requirement to work weekends, and will be on a schedule Monday to Friday week, within hours of 7 : 30 - 3 : 30 / 4 : 00.
This position is for the 2024-2025 school year starting August 2024 - May 2025.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance language learning.
- Encourage and facilitate student participation in Spanish language activities and cultural events.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education. Benefits :

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Pass a background check before the hiring date
- Applicants must have professional proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications :
- Teaching experience in a high school setting.
- State teaching certification
