Manufacturing Assembler

Zenbooth is hiring and building our production team! Located in Berkeley, we are an innovative manufacturing company deploying Lean Manufacturing to reinvent and modernize the concept of the classic phone booth. Our goal is to design and deliver products that help customers find comfort and focus at work. We are looking to hire technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail and strong operational and production skills. In this role you will thrive working collaboratively to produce high-quality products and ensure the future growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Producing and assembling end-to-end products and individual parts for our core products;
• Operate and oversee the proper use of the production line equipment, as well as managing any necessary maintenance or repairs;
• Follow safety procedures to ensure your personal safety and the safety of your teammates;
• Follow production guidelines to ensure our products meet our high quality standards;
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all staff members;
• Keep your work environment clean and tidy at all times.

Desired Skills:

• High school or equivalent (required);
• Clear and professional communication skills;
• Customer-service/Quality-oriented;
• Ability to work both as part of a team and individually;
• Knowledge of construction and fabrication processes (cabinetry, woodworking, etc.);
• Experience with basic hand/power tools;
• Working knowledge of MS Windows or Apple OS, and internet interface;
• Experience with CNC desired but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time;
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted;
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment daily - loud volumes, wood dust (PPE provided - respirator masks, ear protection, gloves).

Compensation:

Eligible for employee stock ownership after 1 year. Depending on your availability, location and the changing needs of the business this can also be a part time role.
