ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. ZENETEX is seeking a Senior Logistician (Logistician IV)Specialist to support our team in Norfolk,Va.
Description
The Logistician IV performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs. Works on logistics and maintainability programs with maintenance control organizations on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.Develop logistics support and maintainability of logistics programs or plans. Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
- Provide Support Equipment support to E-2 organizations at the Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot levels as required.
- Provide monthly deliverables, in the form of A001 and A002 reports.
- Develop, review and update Integrated Logistics Support Documentation.
- Identify the required technical data to support new policy initiatives and changes in aircraft configuration.
- Develop and implement Support Equipment Integrated Logistics Support documentation in support of aircraft, weapons, and ship programs.
- Asses and review Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, and publication changes to ensure proper Support Equipment configuration.
Qualifications
- At least ten years of experience defense life-cycle logistics with the ability to to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapon Systems/equipment.
- Have a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.
- Have a background of Naval Aviation Support Equipment maintenance, policies, and procedures.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTIONS: 1. Associates degree with eight (8) years of experience in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics or military weapons systems.2. High school diploma and the copletion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armend services technical school with at least 10 years of experience in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics or military weapons systems.
Security Clearance
- This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Active clearance highly desired.
